This school is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Subject Lead for Mathematics to lead the department in delivering an exceptional math curriculum. As the Subject Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that all students develop a strong foundation in mathematical principles while fostering a love for the subject. You will provide leadership and guidance to the mathematics team, supporting professional development and enhancing the teaching and learning experience. Responsibilities
- The Secondary Teacher Subject Lead Mathematics appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
- Experience in using interactive tools and software for teaching math.
- Ability to address varied learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- There will be an expectation for the successful Secondary Teacher Subject Lead Mathematics to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
