This school is seeking a dynamic and experienced Subject Lead for ICT to oversee the development and delivery of an innovative and engaging curriculum. You will play a key role in driving the use of technology across the school, ensuring students gain essential digital skills and have access to the latest tools for learning. As the Subject Lead, you will lead a team of passionate ICT educators, fostering a creative and inclusive environment that empowers students to become proficient in a rapidly evolving technological landscape
Responsibilities
- The Secondary Teacher ICT Teacher appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
- Knowledge of hardware, networks, and cybersecurity principles.
- Skills in teaching digital literacy and online safety.
- There will be an expectation for the successful Secondary Teacher ICT Teacher to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
