We have a longstanding relationship with this Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school, supporting them in finding high-quality candidates to join their dedicated team. They are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their resourced provision, supporting pupils with ASD while helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. The school is passionate about developing well-rounded individuals by deliberately teaching prosocial behaviours such as making eye contact, listening attentively, and showing gratitude — equipping all students with the tools to thrive beyond their school years.

Responsibilities

  • The LSA – Learning Support Assistant Special Needs Autism hired for this role must maintain high quality of teaching to ensure pupils are given the best chance to achieve targets.
  • Patience and empathy in addressing complex learning challenges. 
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with families and therapists.
  • The ideal candidate for this LSA – Learning Support Assistant Special Needs Autism role needs to be highly confident and able to support students from all different backgrounds.

Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to be eligible for this role.
  • To be considered for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
