We represent a school who have identified a key need for a Teacher of Special Needs who can contribute to the teaching and learning of the young people in their community.
 
Responsibilities
  • The ideal Teacher of Special Needs for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
  • The Teacher of Special Needs appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • The ideal candidate for this Teacher of Special Needs role needs to be highly confident and able to support students from al different backgrounds.
  • The Teacher of Special Needs chosen for this role will be responsible for working with a range of abilities and be comfortable catering to the broad needs of their students.
 
Qualifications/Experience
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
