Teacher of Special Needs

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Job Type: Full-time
Contract length: Permanent 
 
We work extensively with this particular school and are currently assisting in the recruitment of a dynamic Teacher of Special Needs who can join their team of exited and committed staff. 
 
Responsibilities

• The successful Teacher of Special Needs will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parents’ evenings.
• It is important to this school that the Teacher of Special Needs they hire is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure.
• This school needs a Teacher of Special Needs who is excited to motivate and engage students, and who thrives on the challenge of working in a demanding, yet rewarding environment.

 
Qualifications/Experience

• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this Teacher of Special Needs role.
• Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this Teacher of Special Needs job.
• To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training as a Teacher of Special Needs.
