Join Us as a Learning Mentor SEN PMLD in an SEN School
Exciting opportunity for a SEN TA, LSA, or Learning Mentor to support students with PMLD. You will work closely with pupils to meet their complex learning, sensory, and physical needs, helping them access education in a safe and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • The Learning Mentor SEN PMLD recruited for this role will be expected to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student continuously challenge themselves to improve.
  • The Learning Mentor SEN PMLD appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behavior required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • Strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
  • Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well-being.

Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
