We are currently supporting a lovely school who are looking to recruit a dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join their team or committed practitioners.
Responsibilities
- The successful Business Studies Teacher will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parent's evenings.
- The Business Studies Teacher appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
- There will be an expectation for the successful Business Studies Teacher to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.
- The Business Studies Teacher recruited for this role will be expected to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student continuously challenge themselves to improve.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.

- This Academy is a publicly funded independent state school and is part of a large National Trust is situated in Surrey
- This Academy is a school for young people all of whom have a statement identifying Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties as their primary need
- This Academy can admit up to 60 boys between the ages of 11 to 16 and can offer up to 22 residential places (including extended days) on a flexible basis for up to 4 nights per week
