Teaching Assistants (TAs) support teachers in the classroom by helping pupils engage with learning activities, assisting with group or one-to-one support, and contributing to positive behaviour and learning environments. This role includes supporting literacy and numeracy activities, reinforcing classroom instructions, and working with small groups or individual learners under the direction of teachers.

Successful Teaching Assistants typically demonstrate:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Teamwork with teaching staff and support teams
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom tasks

We place a range of classroom support roles including:

  • TA: Assists in general classroom tasks and supports teachers with lesson delivery.
