Teacher of SEN

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Job Type: Full-time
Contract length: Permanent 
 
We represent a school who have identified a key need for a Teacher of SEN who can contribute to the teaching and learning of the young people in their community.

Responsibilities

• The ideal Teacher of SEN for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
• This school needs a Teacher of SEN who is excited to motivate and engage students, and who thrives on the challenge of working in a demanding, yet rewarding environment.
• The Teacher of SEN chosen for this role will be responsible for working with a range of abilities and be comfortable catering to the broad needs of their students.

 
Qualifications/Experience

• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this Teacher of SEN role.
• Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this Teacher of SEN job.
• To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training as a Teacher of SEN.
