Responsibilities

  • The ideal Primary  Special Needs teacher for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
  • Proficiency in working with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).
  • Familiarity with conditions such as autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
  • The Primary Teacher Early Years Teacher Special Needs appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.

Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
