Join Us as a SEN Teacher Special Needs in an SEN School
We are looking for a SEN Teacher to join our primary phase, supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). You will deliver a highly personalised, sensory-rich curriculum that supports communication, early cognitive development, and physical engagement. Our school provides a caring, well-resourced environment where children with complex needs receive tailored support to flourish.
Responsibilities
- Expertise in creating inclusive lesson plans for students with diverse needs.
- Skills in using assistive technology and adaptive teaching strategies.
- Proficiency in working with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).
- Familiarity with conditions such as autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
