We are seeking an SEN Teacher for Year 3 to support pupils with verbal and non-verbal communication needs. You will implement effective communication strategies and adapt teaching approaches to ensure access to learning for all. This role is key in promoting independence, confidence, and meaningful progress within an inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- This school requires a SEN Teacher Special Needs Autism who is comfortable with technology, online management systems, and has strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills.
- It is important for this school that the SEN Teacher Special Needs Autism recruited is able to liaise with parents and provide feedback on student achievements and progress.
- Skilled in fostering communication and social interaction.
- Proficiency in creating visual schedules and task analysis.
Qualifications/Experience
- You must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
- Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
- To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
