We are currently supporting a school who we have had a strong relationship with for many years in recruiting a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their amazing team.
Responsibilities
- The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parents’ evenings.
- It is important for this school that the Special Needs Teaching Assistant recruited is able to liaise with parents and provide feedback on student achievements and progress.
- This school requires a Special Needs Teaching Assistant who is comfortable with technology, online management systems, and has strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills.
Qualifications/Experience
- Although not required, a Special Needs Teaching Assistant with experience in First Aid and Manual handling would prove an asset in this position.
- The ideal Special Needs Teaching Assistant for this role will have completed Team Teach Training and have experience implementing this into the classroom.
