We are currently supporting a school who we have had a strong relationship with for many years in recruiting a Special Needs Teacher to join their amazing team.
 

Responsibilities

  • The ideal Special Needs Teacher for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
  • The expectations for this role is a Special Needs Teacher who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area, and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
  • The ideal candidate for this Special Needs Teacher role needs to be highly confident and able to support students from al different backgrounds.
  • The Special Needs Teacher chosen for this role will be responsible for working with a range of abilities and be comfortable catering to the broad needs of their students.

 
Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
