Responsibilities
- There will be an expectation for the successful Special Needs Teacher to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.
- The Special Needs Teacher recruited for this role will be expected to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student continuously challenge themselves to improve.
- It is important to this school that the Special Needs Teacher they hire is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure.
Qualifications/Experience
- Although not required, a Special Needs Teacher with experience in First Aid and Manual handling would prove an asset in this position.
- The ideal Special Needs Teacher for this role will have completed Team Teach Training and have experience implementing this into the classroom.
