We are currently supporting a school who we have had a strong relationship with for many years in recruiting a Special Needs Teacher to join their amazing team.
 
Responsibilities

  • The Special Needs Teacher hired for this role must maintain high quality of teaching to ensure pupils are given the best chance to achieve targets.
  • The Special Needs Teacher appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • It is important to this school that the Special Needs Teacher they hire is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure.
  • The Special Needs Teacher chosen for this role will be responsible for working with a range of abilities and be comfortable catering to the broad needs of their students.

 
Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
