We represent a school who have identified a key need for a Special Needs Teacher who can contribute to the teaching and learning of the young people in their community.
 
Responsibilities

  • The Special Needs Teacher appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • This school requires a Special Needs Teacher who is comfortable with technology, online management systems, and has strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills.
  • The Special Needs Teacher recruited for this role will be expected to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student continuously challenge themselves to improve.
  • It is important to this school that the Special Needs Teacher they hire is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure.

 
Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
