We are currently supporting a lovely school who are looking to recruit a dynamic SEN Teaching Assistant SpLD to join their team of committed practitioners.

Responsibilities

  • The successful SEN Teaching Assistant SpLD will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parents’ evenings.
  • The SEN Teaching Assistant SpLD appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant SpLD for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
  • There will be an expectation for the successful SEN Teaching Assistant SpLD to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.

Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
