SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

We are currently supporting a lovely school who are looking to recruit a dynamic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team or committed practitioners.
 

Responsibilities

• The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
• The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parents’ evenings.
• This school requires a SEN Teaching Assistant who is comfortable with technology, online management systems, and has strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills.
• There will be an expectation for the successful SEN Teaching Assistant to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.

Qualifications/Experience

• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
• To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
