Responsibilities
- The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant for this position will be someone who is enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the community of this school.
- The expectations for this role is a SEN Teaching Assistant who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area, and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
- The SEN Teaching Assistant hired for this role must maintain high quality of teaching to ensure pupils are given the best chance to achieve targets.
Qualifications/Experience
- Although not required, a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience in First Aid and Manual handling would prove an asset in this position.
- The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant for this role will have completed Team Teach Training and have experience implementing this into the classroom.
School
- The school recruiting for this SEN Teaching Assistant has a strong Senior Leadership Team who have extensive experience and are very supportive with transitioning overseas’ trained teachers to the UK curriculum.
