We represent a school who have identified a key need for a SEN Teacher who can contribute to the teaching and learning of the young people in their community.
 
Responsibilities

  • The SEN Teacher appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • There will be an expectation for the successful SEN Teacher to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.
  • It is important to this school that the SEN Teacher they hire is able to analyse assessment data and use it to inform lesson planning and structure.
  • The SEN Teacher chosen for this role will be responsible for working with a range of abilities and be comfortable catering to the broad needs of their students.

 
Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
