We represent a school who have identified a key need for a SEN Teacher who can contribute to the teaching and learning of the young people in their community.
 
Responsibilities

  • The expectations for this role is a SEN Teacher who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area, and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
  • The ideal SEN Teacher for this role will demonstrate a willingness to explore new ideas that contribute to the development of a learning culture in the school.
  • It is important for this school that the SEN Teacher recruited is able to liaise with parents and provide feedback on student achievements and progress.
  • This school requires a SEN Teacher who is comfortable with technology, online management systems, and has strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills.
 
Qualifications/Experience
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
