Secondary Teacher English

We are currently representing a school who are looking to hire a committed and passionate Secondary Teacher English to join their staff for next term.

Responsibilities

• The successful Secondary Teacher English will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parents’ evenings.
• The expectations for this role is a Secondary Teacher English who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area, and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
• There will be an expectation for the successful Secondary Teacher English to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.
• It is important for this school that the Secondary Teacher English recruited is able to liaise with parents and provide feedback on student achievements and progress.

Qualifications/Experience

• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
• Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
• To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
