We represent a school who have identified a key need for a Religious Education Teacher who can contribute to the teaching and learning of the young people in their community.
 
Responsibilities

  • The successful Religious Education Teacher will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parent's evenings.
  • It is important for this school that the Religious Education Teacher recruited is able to liaise with parents and provide feedback on student achievements and progress.
  • The Religious Education Teacher appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behaviour required to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • There will be an expectation for the successful Religious Education Teacher to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.

 
Qualifications/Experience

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
  • Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
  • To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
