Finally the dreaded cold weather is over and it’s time to enjoy some sunshine! There is no summer like a European one. Vibrant and sunny accompanied with countless events, endless cities to visit and thrill seeking adventures you can get up to before the cold snap hits again.
1. Croatia Island Hopping
Start in Split or Dubrovnik and take a weeklong tour through the islands of Vis, Hvar and Korcula. The tour is basically a series of partying, socialising and undoubtedly many hangovers. 2. Octoberfest in Munich

3. Santorini in Greek Islands
Santorini has it all I reckon, culture, Greek food, beaches, nightlife and also the chance to relax. You can hire a quad bike and explore the entire Island and see some of the most amazing sunsets you’ve ever seen. This makes for endless Instagram posts that will have your mates either jealous or annoyed. But who cares, because you’re in Santorini having the time of your life!
4. Interlaken, Switzerland
Are you an adrenaline junkie? Do you think jumping out of a plane is somehow thrilling? If so, Interlaken is perfect for you. It’s the place to visit for sport, nature, activities and cheese! There are a number of hiking trails and the opportunity to sky dive, hang glide, kayak and go on beautiful treks. If adrenaline driven activities aren’t your thing you can take a short train ride and go to Jungfraujoch –Top of Europe, and see snow in the summer, who knew!!
5. London (Dah!)
Ok so you may not be taking off to see Europe this summer. That’s fine because London is just as amazing. There are numerous festivals, markets, amazing nightlife and cultural events on.

6. Fuerteventura,Canary Islands
You might be more into surfing, beaches, kayaking, paddle boarding and even kite surfing. Fuerteventura is a volcanic Island in Spain which you can hit the beach, relax in a resort and explore the volcanic landscape. Seafood and cheese are their best known food. So on the flip side if you’re a cheese lover and appreciate fresh seafood then this is the place for you.
7. Lisbon, Portgual
Lisbon is Europe’s coolest foodie destination. Full of charisma and great food that is ridiculously cheap. The Alfama medieval town is one of the best neighbourhoods to get lost in and explore with its beautiful architecture and history. However, if you’re all about being the life of the party and dancing the night away then Bairro Alto is the place to be. You can also take many day trips to various locations including the famous Pena Palace in Sintra which is an iconic attraction of the 19th century Romanticism style of architecture.
8.Venice, Italy
This may be the perfect destination to unwind after your wild travels of all the locations above. Nothing beats Venice’s incredible old buildings, romantic vibe (for all you cheesy couples out there), nice sunsets and of course everyone’s favourite cuisine; Italian! Enjoy a canal ride whilst sipping on champagne or wine and seeing all that Venice has to offer. If you want to explore even more you can drop in to see Burano which is a very colourful island next to Venice and ridiculously romantic.
